In our Unit 2 Science, the Grade 1 students explored the world of animals and plants, learning about their needs, types, and natural habitats. To bring their understanding to life, the students created their own dioramas using recyclable materials and showcased different environments where animals and plants live and grow.

Diorama Making
Through creativity and imagination, they designed forests, oceans, deserts, and gardens filled with colorful plants and animals. After completing their beautiful dioramas, the students proudly presented their work through a show and tell, explaining how animals and plants depend on their environment and sharing ways to take care of them.
This engaging activity not only deepened their understanding of living things but also encouraged them to become more caring and responsible stewards of nature. At Hope Christian High School, we continue to inspire curiosity, creativity, and compassion through hands-on learning experiences that connect science with real life.
